June events in Marrakech The 'Mediterranean Delight' festival of Bellydance is a 5 day event which takes place at the Hotel Ryad Mogador Agdal featuring workshops by teachers from all over the world; there is also a belly dance competition open to allcomers. July events in Marrakech The National Festival of Popular Arts (Fête National des Arts Populaires) is a five-day event, one of the biggest in the Marrakech festival calendar, held each year in July. The El-Badi Palace hosts some of the best performances by Berber musicians and seductive belly dancers. The festival also transforms the central Jemaa el-Fna square into an al-fresco performance venue featuring a wide spectrum of traditional folk arts from all over Morocco. In addition, artists, craftsmen, vendors, musicians, acrobats, snake charmers, fire-eaters and dancers can be found performing in every corner of the city.
