Marrakech Climate and Weather

The peak of the tourist season in Marrakech is from late February to mid May and from mid September to mid November. During these months visitors can expect prolonged sunshine, splendid temperatures, comparable with those of early summer in Europe, and little, if any, rain. While winter sun (November to February) is very pleasantly warm (hence the Christmas period is very popular), this is the season when rain falls from time to time, coming down as snow on the Atlas mountains, and evenings and early mornings can be distinctly chilly.
